Poverty

Poverty is a huge problem in society today. Many people are struggling to survive day by day because they have no money to spend on what they want. With few jobs for people and low pay for those who are fortunate enough to have one. Many people are forced to live in poverty because the government doesn't want to help them. It is sad that the government can't assist.

Many people are forced to live in poverty because of the government's policies, Every day people are in need of help. Homeless people are forced to sleep in the streets because a lack of housing. Money is hard to come by these days. Especially with Covid-19 in effect. Children are starving as well. Different country's are worse for poverty than the others.

Some can't even find clean water to drink. And some can't afford medical care. People are dying because of lack of access to proper medical assistance. The crime rate is high as well. It is a very sad day when a child can't go to school because of the fear of being shot. Violence is on the rise and a lot of it is due to poverty. Why can't the government help people in need.

This is a topic that is very important to me and I want to write about it, Without money we cannot survive and will get sick. We need to be able to take care of ourselves and our families. The only way to do that is with money. Without education we cannot manage to take care of ourselves.

Planet Earth

Planet Earth is a fascinating place. With a wide range of different landscapes to explore. With a population of approximately 6 billion people. We've been living on Earth for a very long time. Over the years we have discovered about the importance of our home world. 72 % of the world is covered by water. We have found many species that live on Earth. Humans are just one of those species. Animals of different kinds live on Earth. Dinosaurs used to roam the Earth, and are now extinct. Compared to other planets Earth is one of the best places to live.

Cavemen lived on Earth for a very long time. We have many different species that can survive on Earth. The world is very beautiful. The planet rotates around the Sun and is constantly getting warmer. When temperatures get too high or too low on Earth we can have devastating tsunamis. Global warming is one of the most dangerous things happening on Earth. We cannot undo the damage caused by global warming. Our planet is being destroyed by humans and we need to put a stop to this problem. People need to stop destroying our home planet.

If we all do our part the world would be so much better for sure. Spinning around and around is a very exciting thing. The planets spin around the Sun because they are very heavy. The stars in the sky are very bright because they are very far away. Scientist still don't know how the Sun works but the Galaxy continues to do what it does. The planet is expected to live for millions of years more after we are gone. Compared to the other planets Earth is a very good place.

Weather is very unpredictable and hard to predict. Every season that passes the Earth gets colder and we need to watch out for the ice. Natural disasters can happen very quickly. Any type of disaster could happen at any time. In recent studies we have found that the Earth is warming up. Scientists have found that the Earth is getting warmer every year. Our planet is one of many planets in our galaxy. The solar system is made up of millions of planets.

Research has shown that there are many other planets in our solar system including the planets that did not make it to our solar system when the Sun is still active. Since the days of dinosaurs the Earth has been changing and we need to change with it. Earth is a living thing. If you live on Earth you need to be able to maintain a healthy body, Humans are very important to the planet Earth. We will be extinct one day and the world will become a very different place. Bugs and insects live on Earth and keep the world clean. Trees and nature are very important to the ecosystem on Earth.

We get oxygen from Earth and it allows us to breathe and survive. We are not alone in the universe, this is one of the most famous quotes. We live on a small planet that is surrounded by many other planets. Scientists believe that there are reasons to believe that the universe is a big place. Astronauts have been sent to other planets in the solar system and have discovered that there are many different types of life on other planets. Sodalities are small flying objects that float around other planets to show us what life could be like on other planets. Many things happen on Earth. Omegas are small creatures that are made up of two different types of cells. Life on planet Earth has been going on for millions of years.

Regent Park Housing Projects (Toronto, Canada)

Regent Park was the first projects in North America. Located in the heart of Toronto's Downtown core Canada. Regent had 1 pool and 2 Ice Rinks inside of it for the community to use. It also had 2 baseball dimonds. They built 2 centers for the youth to play in. My Grand Mother was the Vice President of the Regent Park Council. She helped out the projects in many ways. My sister played for the Regent Park baseball team growing up. And I remember watching her play in the park. This is where my one side of family came from. You had North side and South side.

Facebook

Facebook is the modern day telephone. Now you don't have to lose contact with friends and family members. It's kind of like the Yellow Pages but better. I have been on it for over 10 years strong, and recommend it to everybody. With over 500 friends, 5000 pictures. I get to stay up to date with my pals. No more losing family photos or causing damage to our memories. My whole life is on my page. Along with my sons since he was a little boy. 

Facebook also allows you to leave your profile/ legacy to somebody when you pass on. I suggest anyone on the social media network to do so. I have collected over 300 of my favorite music videos on my page. I save famous sayings and facts that catch my attention. My son will always be able to take in his fathers profile. I set it up for him over the years. This way my Grand children will get to see what their Grandpa was up to over the years. And their kids after that. Right up to the computers crash, that won't be for a long time. Facebook is also an awesome way to advertise for any kind of business. It's a really good way to meet someone if your single too!

The Game of Hockey

I feel true that Hockey is the best game in the world. You get to score goals on a net, skate, body-check and fight. Something about the smell of a rink I will never forget. Them long drives with my Dad just me and him. He used to watch my every move on the ice. And I liked it. I'd show off for him! Everybody wants to play in the big leagues when their kids where I'm from (Toronto, Canada). But I really had a shot at making the NHL. 

I was inches away. I wanted to hoist that Stanley Cup one day. Buy my mother a big house. Money, fortune and fame. I had that dream. I recommend putting your child into hockey young. Start them off in a house league when their old enough. And if your from Toronto the GTHL when their ready. I started playing hockey at Moss Park Arena and a pond in High Park. I played for the Warren Park Eagles, the Humber Valley Sharks and the Mississauga Braves. 

The most time I spent with a team was with the Mississauga Braves for 4 years. It was a great team. I was one of the best that ever played the sport. My dreams were cut short due to a hand injury off ice. I was scouted by the Toronto Marlies and held a position on the team. There is nothing like Hockey anywhere. Go for a skate!

The Greater Toronto Hockey League Canada

If serious about your kids hockey career, I suggest you put them in the GTHL Canada. It is the best minor hockey league on the planet. It is very organized. They have "A", "AA" and "AAA". "A" being the lowest in skill level and "AAA" being the highest level. Everybody has to tryout first before joining a team. The GTHL is not cheap either, You have to pay to play in less you work something out with a team. Some teams do payment plans with different players. 

Every hockey player gets a team jacket and most likely a track suite and bag. The league is very competitive and most kids are working to make the NHL. If you want to keep your kid busy and out of trouble it's a good idea to take a shot at it. They will have regular hockey games and practices weekly. Also they will get the chance to play in hockey tournaments and travel. It's awesome for the kids, They will meet other players their age and make friends.

Covid-19

It has effected the whole world. We are risking our lives by walking out our doors. Yet to survive we need to. Things like going to work or the grocery store has become an issue. But we all have to do it. We all need to stick together through these harsh times. I talked to a medical professional recently and was told we should be in the clear in roughly a year. But who really knows? Babys are growing up with mask being the norm. 

What do we tell our kids is what I say. I'm terrified of the outcome to this matter, being a parent myself. I tend to avoid the news and don't like to talk about the situation. Everything is shut down and people are going out of business. Poverty is getting worse. Some blame the Goverment. I don't trust anybody. When will society be back to regular?
